Day 1 at kickbike world championships
Our new kickbikes arrived today at our hotel in St. Wendel, Germany. Special thanks to Vincent from steptrading (http://www.steptrading.nl/) if you are ever in the Netherlands check it out, or just see his website.
Put our bikes together and went for a tour through the city. Then off to the Angels hotel at the golf course for dinner and casual chat with fellow kickbikers from around the globe.
Race day tomorrow with the 400 meter sprint. Can hardly wait. It is so great to see so many kickbikes in the city here.

Travel day
Long day of flying ended wih us in Luxembourg for a few days of adjustment and sightseeing before continuing on to Sankt Wendel for WC2012. Whenever I go on the plane for these long overnight trans-Atlantic flights and they load all the elite and first class passengers then load the rest I'd us in steerage, it makes you think "is it too late to upgrade to these fully reclining beds up front?"
